Sunday

Drinking hot tea, waiting for my wool scarf that I wove to dry (pictures soon), and reading this about Jesus:

"Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
1 Peter 1:8-9

I love this passage because Peter acknowledges that, unlike himself, we haven't seen Jesus, yet that doesn't stop people from not only believing in him but also loving him. Sight isn't necessary in this relationship. But love certainly is.

p.s. wet wool doesn't smell very nice
