Parks and Rec

Its easy to underestimate Pennsylvania. We may not have the grand canyon, or redwoods, or coastal shores, but we have a whole lot of State Parks that can certainly hold their own. My boyfriend and a few of our friends drove out to McConnell's Mill State Park yesterday. It instantly reminded me of the west coast, specifically the Seattle area. All along the rivers were narrow "beaches" with huge rocks and pine trees. We hiked a few different trails, skipped some stones, and almost fell in the river.
